At the player select screen, press Left + Right + Start simultaneously, then quickly press Right or Left to make a bear or two bonus men from Gunbullet appear. Kuma the Bear has great acceleration but has a slow top speed while the gunbullets boys have great cruise speed but need a perfect slalom.
