VGCITY Enter The Matrix: Basic Survival Guide
by David Meylan

Being flogged by guards? Running out of ammo? Need help, but don’t wanna ask? Fear not, I am here to help, someone who has faced agents toe-to-toe and lived, the list below are useful tips for surviving Enter the Matrix:

1. Save your Powerful weapons, you’ll never know when a large group of enemies will rush you.

2. Conserve your focus energy, sure, it looks cool to fight everyone in slow-mo, but it’s not cool to run out during a fight with agent Smith, major ownage of your butt will ensue.

3. Relax, your health and focus regenerate (except in boss fights) just hide behind a pillar till you can fight again. There’s no shame in hiding.

4. When you see an agent, to quote the movie, “Run, run your ass off.” ONLY fight an agent when you have to.

5. On normal enemies (Security, Cops, SWAT team guys) use your hand-to-hand fighting, unless, of course, you can’t get to them, or they have a strong long range weapon, like a sniper rifle.

6. When fighting the 1st helicopter as Ghost, hide behind the fountain, and wait for him to pass the first time, on his second pass, he can’t shoot you.

7. Use your secondary weapons sparingly, you might need them to access certain areas.

8. Your auto lock-on is invaluable, never forget it. It will save your life.

9. In Niobe’s driving sequences, it is easier to press the camera button to change to an outside view, check the control options for the camera button.

10. Guns...Lots and lots of guns. More often than not, you will acquire a hefty arsenal, decide which is needed for each situation, for example, a shotgun is best up close with lots of enemies.

Good luck, have fun, and the Matrix owns you.
