Red Dead Revolver is one of the first mainstream cowboy games to hit the market since the industry first took flight. Developers have tried the time period a few times before, but none of those attempts have formed into anything substantial. Rockstar games has made an admirable effort with Red Dead Revolver and it along with all of their past projects oozes the style they are so known for. As you will see in the reviews, its not a perfect game by any means, but it is a major step in the right direction for allowing developers to venture into uncharted territory. In an industry littered with World War II titles and squad based tactical action it is nice to see a new set of games aim to break the mold and Red Dead Revolver is on the forefront:
