Corsair Announces 2GB USB Flash Voyager Drive on January 18, 2005.
Memory developer announces new 2GB flash drive.

Fremont, California, January 18, 2005: Corsair Memory, Inc., a global leader in ultra-performance DDR memory modules for PC gamers and enthusiasts, today announced immediate availability of a new 2GB Hi-Speed USB 2.0 flash drive.

The new CMFUSB2.0-2GB card offers a great amount of storage capacity in an extremely small package. Corsair’s new Flash Voyager products are as highly acclaimed for their durability as they are for performance. Their soft rubber shock resistant, water resistant casing protects valuable data from the elements better than any other USB drive on the market. Supporting read speeds of up to 19MB per second, this drive also offers award-winning performance.

According to Corsair Product Manager, Eric Ackerson, “This product is the result of Corsair’s considerable effort to constantly drive performance and capacity to new levels. It shows Corsair’s commitment to the Flash market.”

The CMFUSB2.0-2GB is shipping now to Corsair resellers worldwide. Street prices on this product are expected to be around $189. More information on this and other Corsair USB products can be found at www.corsairmemory.com/corsair/flash_memory.html
