GameTap Aligns With Three New Publishers on January 12, 2006.
Over 150 new games have been licensed to be future additions to GameTap
The GameTap broadband gaming service from Turner Broadcasting System Inc. has announced today that they have engaged in licensing deals with three new publishers. The companies are Interplay Entertainment Corporation, SNK PLAYMORE USA Corporation and Riverdeep Inc. These deals will serve to add over 150 new games to the pay gaming service that is updated with new games weekly.
Some of the games from these publishers to soon hit GameTap include:
Battlechess
Clayfighter
Earthworm Jim
Giants
Ikari Warriors
MDK
Ninja Commando
Sacrifice
Shock Troopers
Virtual Tennis
Viva Soccer
Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego
Oregon Trail
These games will be added over time to expand an ever growing library that started with over 300 games at launch and new games added each week. One of the latest games to hit GameTap this week was the critically acclaimed UbiSoft title, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
Currently GameTap subscribers pay 14.95 a month for the service.
