2K Games To Publish Ghost Rider on May 01, 2006.
Ghost Rider game based on upcoming Nicolas Cage comic book film
2K Games has announced that they are set to publish Ghost Rider, an all new game that is based on both the Marvel comic and upcoming movie adaptation starring Nicolas Cage, Eva Mendes and Wes Bentley. The game’s release will probably be set to coincide with the February 2007 release of the movie.
The game revolves around the adventures of Johnny Blaze, an extreme stunt biker who is taken over by the powerful Ghost Rider. Players will battle evil in the third person on both foot and bike with high speed motorcycle sequences.
The game is expected to take elements from both the comic and movie, so it might be safe to assume that the game may not stick strictly to the movie’s events. Things are still early, but it wouldn’t be surprising if Ghost Rider appeared at next weeks’ E3 2006 event.
