Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Ships Today on October 25, 2006.
The Marvel superheroes are finally on their way to your local retail chains.

After the success of the two X-Men Legends games in years past, Activision has announced today that Marvel: Ultimate Alliance has shipped to stores for both the current generation platforms and the Microsoft Xbox 360. Featuring a massive library of Marvel superheroes and villains, Ultimate Alliance has gameplay similar to that of the X-Men Legends series, but the wide variety of characters, expansive story and enhanced multiplayer gameplay should shake things up.

The following information was provided by Activision in their press release:

“Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is currently available for the Xbox 360 for a suggested retail price of $59.99, the Xbox, PlayStation 2, PC and PSP for $39.99 and the GBA version is $29.99. The PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii versions of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance will be available in mid-November, making the title the first Super Hero game on all next generation systems. The console, PC and PSP platforms have been rated “T” (“Teen” – Mild Language, Violence) and the GBA version has been rated “E10+” (“Everyone 10+” – Fantasy Violence) by the ESRB.”

Comic book fans are sure to go crazy and you along with them should expect to see Marvel: Ultimate Alliance in stores sometime this week.
