Valve releases the first major update to Team Fortress 2 for free
Ever since the game was released last fall, fans of Team Fortress 2 have been wondering when they would begin to see some new content. Well, today is their lucky day because a free update to Team Fortress 2 has been released with an extensive list of changes that would accommodate a typical patch, but it also includes a little something extra. The first new map for TF2 is included with this patch and it is entitled "Badlands". This is the first, but considering the popularity of TF2 online, it is hardly the last.
The update should automatically download and install itself the next time owners of the game log onto Steam.
