Electronic Arts and Gas Powered Games Sign Publishing Agreement on March 22, 2004.
EA and Gas Powered games unite to create new PC Real Time Strategy game
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. --(March 22, 2004)-- Electronic Arts (Nasdaq:ERTS), the world's leading interactive entertainment software company today announced a worldwide publishing agreement with celebrated game designer Chris Taylor of Gas Powered Games. The two companies have partnered to create a Real-Time Strategy (RTS) game for the PC. The new title is slated for release in 2006. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

"We worked hard to find a publisher that shared our vision for this new title, and it's really no surprise that we partnered with EA. This agreement reinforces EA's commitment to nurturing independent game development studios and providing them with the tools, expertise, and distribution power needed to succeed in the global marketplace.
