Tecmo Announces Third and Final Master Ninja Tournament Along With Hurricane Pack Volume 2 on September 27, 2004.
Evolved monsters and new "Shadow" enemies raise the stakes in the final Master Ninja Tournament
TORRANCE, Calif., September 24, 2004TecmoŽ and Xbox Live announced today their plans for a third and final Master Ninja Tournament beginning September 27, 2004. Setting the stage for the final 3-week long online tournament will be the new and challenging Hurricane Pack: Volume II, available through Xbox Live. The new Hurricane Pack: Volume II, launching at the same time as the tournament, will pose a new challenge for tournament participants with evolved monsters, enemies equipped with new weapons, and new "shadow" enemies that will attack with fierce never before seen skills.
Differing from the first Hurricane Pack, the new downloadable is a shorter challenge that focuses on the enemies in the game, but promises to be just as challenging as Hurricane Pack: Volume I. The new Hurricane Pack: Volume II plans to pack a whole new punch with an entire new mode called, "The Fiend Realm" where players must use new and increased ninja skills in order to conquer the game. Hurricane Pack: Volume II will be used as the platform for the third Master Ninja Tournament but can also be played as a separate download without having to compete.
The third and final tournament will begin Monday, September 27th. Those that wish to compete must first register at www.masterninjatournament.com before downloading Hurricane Pack: Volume II. Participants who post their score by the tournament end date will be eligible for prizing.
