StuntMan Review
Introduction From the creators of Driver and Driver 2, here comes Stuntman. The game where the name says it all, you are a stuntman working your way up to harder stunts and higher budget films. The concept looks great on paper, and could have been great in action, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment.
Gameplay There aren’t many good things I can say about this game, other than the extras are pretty fun to mess around with, once you have earned them. When you complete level objectives, you are given ramps, rail, and other stuff to build your own stunt track. The stunt tracks are the closest things to resembling fun on this game.
Story First of all, the control is horrible, the game doesn’t seem to realize that when you press a button, something is suppose to happen on screen. The graphics are ugly, Stuntman looks like a PSX game in action. Another problem is the movie director. He is annoying, says the same thing over and over, and never shuts up. I found myself muting the television so I didn’t have to listen to him. Other problems include a steep learning curve, frustrating level direction (many times you aren’t sure where to go or what to do), and Stuntman is a very short game if you have the patience to play it all the way through.
Graphics If you absolutely must play this game, rent it. You will be mad at yourself for weeks if you buy it.
