Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis Review
Introduction The strategy genre has always been on the top of gaming industry, and games like Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis explain the reason why. Tactics Ogre is a turn based strategy game, which is combined with a splendid story that turns Tactics Ogre into a Strategy-RPG game.
Gameplay Tactics Ogre is one of the leading GBA games in the graphics scale. The colors combine perfectly to please your eye. During the developing of Tactics Ogre, they took very good care of each detail. Every character has his/her/its own characteristics, you won't have trouble from telling anyone apart nor every enemy will look the same. The music of the game is nice, it doesn't repeat over and over, so you won't get bored by it. Sound is also an important aspect as every single weapon or attacks has its soound, no trouble here!
Story The story is very interesting, you are a knight that after strange things begin happening in the island of Ovis decides to fight this unknown forces. Scenes after battles, will give you hints or ideas on what you should do next, this events add up to the sotry. The story is a very important addition to rise the gameplay to the top, but there are many other notable aspects in the gameplay. There are shops where you can buy and sell items/weapons, spend your goths. You can also, and have to organize your troops. Your troops will gain experience points everytime they attack, this will result in stronger attacks, higher agility, and the improving of many other skills. Fight it out! There are different battle win modes. Defeat the leader is the easiest one, well, that's my opinion. In defeat the leader win mode you just have to kill the leader and the battle will be over while in the other win mode, which is Defeat them all, its pretty hard, it will take a while and its harder to beat as you will have to watch out for everyone.
Graphics With no faulty aspects, Tactics Ogre will be one of the best GBA games ever developed, my opinion, go buy it, it can't not be in your collection!
