The Sims Superstar Expansion Pack8.5

The Sims Superstar Expansion Pack Review

The Sims is one of these games with a long lifetime. Since the first Sim game was released I ran to the store and I bought. However the game would soon get boring if it wasn’t for the expansion packs. With the release of expansion packs like the Sims Unleashed, Vacation, Hot Date the game has extended it’s lifetime with a healthy smile. No, the CD does not smile, but all the happy fans of the game do.

Just like past expansions for The Sims, Superstar offers a whole new gameplay level. Just as before your Sim is able to work and live a normal life. However you will be getting a entertainment magazine daily with your newspaper. When you are reading it you can look for an agent and start your life as a superstar. You drop your current job and sign up for an agent. Then daily you can go on the phone and call your cab which will take you to Studio Town, where all the action is.

Once in Studio Town your Sim will have a lot of new things to do. At Studio Town you can either: work, talk, play, eat or just relax in a sauna bath. Studio Town has everything you would need to stay there for a whole day, bathrooms, restaurants, playgrounds, people, nothing is missing and if something is, you can always add it to the Studio Town location! Maxis included a useful tool, when you are out of the game you can go to Studio Town and buy new appliances and basically build anything you want. You can also destroy the building and start your very own Hollywood (Studio Town) place!

The whole point in Studio Town is to maintain your star level at the top. At the beginning it’s easy to advance levels, however as the star level goes higher you will find trouble. First of all you must be good at keeping friends. You have to network and have as many friend points as you can. While keeping good friend relationships you have to work out, keep your charisma and other skill points up. Finally, the most annoying part of the problems that come up is fans. What is more annoying than having obsessed fans surrounding your house 24/7. You will have a pretty hard time being famous, but it’s worth it, gaining a lot of money and making your house awesome.

Everything else in the game is the same, and let me tell you that if you are new to the game, you have to buy it with all the expansion packs to get the most out of it. Superstar is a nice new experience in The Sims, I highly recommend it.
