Golden Sun Review
Introduction When people talk about the best GBA game, it must be about Golden Sun. There is no doubt, everyone agrees.
Isaac, or however you name him, is just a 17 year old teenager sent in a quest with his friend. As everyone in his hometown, he has powers, psyenergy it’s called. At first, when you go for the four elemental stars, everything is easy, you will beat every monster that appears for battle, this is just the beginning, as everything will change, in the huge map, and the dozen of towns, there are many tasks to be done, and one mystery to solve, a thrilling adventure!
Gameplay Graphics are very detailed, as all GBA games it gives you a 3D experience. Personally, I think that the place that lets you travel to other towns could be improved a bit. When you are in the towns or caves the graphics are a lot better. Hopefully, you will spend most of your time in towns.
Story The gameplay will change depending on the actions you take, you may say no or yes to something, though I think it only changes a bit and leads to the same conclusion. You will have the options to sell and buy. Armor, weapons and medicine are just a few of the items you will find. Your characters, you (Isaac), and Garet will get stronger after each battle, and of course you will get money if you win. With a lot of training, you will be getting new psyenergy attacks, like fire or earthquake; you will get stronger, and wiser. You will meet many people that need help, beat some bad guys in your way to find the elemental stars; doing this will get you new friends and rewards. This is just a little example of the gameplay, it’s so real and interesting that you won’t stop playing.
Graphics The sounds are great. The developers did a great job simulating the sound of the rain and everything else, including the volcano eruption. The sound for a handheld is just perfect; I don’t find any faults in it.
When you buy the game, eat and sleep well, as you won’t stop playing until late night, 100 percent guaranteed.
