GT Advance 2: Rally Racing Review
Introduction Every Racing fan need were satisfied, by this “little” game. If we compare this game to V Rally on PS, Gran Turismo 3 on PS2, or perhaps to Ghotam Racing on XBOX, we will see that it’s about the same quality; but of course, the graphics are better on those other games. But if we forget about those other games, we will see that GT Advance is a very complex game, where you will find everything you may want, in a racing competition.
From import cars, to US cars, the variety of cars is completed with the 20 cars you will unlock when you finish the championship mode.
Gameplay When it get to sound, it’s simple music that is playing, but it doesn’t matter, as when you are driving too fast in real life, you don’t listen to music, do you? Although, the sounds the car makes are great, every single sound a real car would make is interpreted in this game!
Story Each car has own characteristics. In the most notable characteristics we may list the AWD, RWD or FWD; this is very notable on each level, especially when you drive in mood or gravel courses, if your car isn’t AWD, you will be in the last positions, one hundred percent guaranteed! Don’t forget to choose your tire type for each course, and don’t change your suspension too much, because I don’t think you can handle the difference! Every single feature of this game makes the difference, on the way how the car is driven on a specific course, and in the gameplay.
Graphics The graphics are just excellent, I would say, with a little bit of improvement it could be compared to some PS racing games! However, in this game they still haven’t improved the hated by me detail, you will not stop if you hit a tree or a rock! This is probably the worst aspect of the game for me, while others may not care, as it makes driving easier for them. After looking into the details of the cars you will be amazed, just take a look at the Toyota Corolla, the Subaru WRX STI, or the precious Nissan Skyline GTR!
This is a must buy, no doubt, the perfect racing game, for the GBA!
